Badrinath Dham Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage to the temple of Lord Vishnu, located in Badrinath town, Uttarakhand. Nestled between the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges, the temple sits beside the holy Alaknanda River. Pilgrims seek blessings and spiritual peace here. The route offers majestic views, and nearby sites like Tapt Kund and Mana village enrich the journey.
Your spiritual escape begins in Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the World. After a soulful Aarti at Triveni Ghat, drive through winding Himalayan roads to the scenic town of Joshimath. Check in to your hotel, enjoy a peaceful evening amidst pine-scented air, and prepare for divine darshan.
Early morning, head to Badrinath. Offer prayers at the sacred Badrinath Temple, take a dip in Tapta Kund, and explore Mana Village – the last village of India – featuring Vyas Gufa, Saraswati River, and Bhim Pul. Return to Joshimath for a cozy overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your return to Rishikesh. Along the way, stop at Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi meet to form the Ganga. Reach Rishikesh with memories of a short yet soul-refreshing pilgrimage.
