Things to Know
Weather Conditions
- Auli experiences cold weather year-round; winters (Dec–March) are snowy and ideal for skiing.
- Pack woolens, gloves, warm innerwear, and waterproof jackets.
- Carry sunglasses and sunscreen to avoid snow glare.
Road Conditions
- Roads from Haridwar to Joshimath are hilly but well-connected and scenic.
- Occasional landslides or roadblocks may happen in monsoon (July–Sept).
- Ropeway from Joshimath to Auli operates 9 AM – 4 PM (weather dependent).
Requirements
- Valid government ID (Aadhar/Passport) required for all travelers.
- Carry any personal medicines or motion sickness tablets.
- Internet access may be limited in Auli; inform your loved ones accordingly.
- Couple-friendly ID required at check-in.
Terms & Conditions
- 50% advance payment required for booking confirmation.
- Full payment must be cleared before Start travel.
- No refund for last-minute cancellations (within 48 hours).
- Activities like skiing/ropeway are weather-dependent and non-refundable.
- Hotel check-in and check-out as per local policies (usually 11 AM check-in).
- Unused services will not be refunded.
- Package subject to availability and standard hotel policies.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation Policy
- 100% refund if cancelled 7 days or more before the travel date. No cancellation charges; full amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
- 50% refund if cancelled 4 to 6 days before the travel date. The remaining amount will be deducted as cancellation charges.
- No refund if cancelled within 3 days of the travel date. No-show or last-minute cancellations (less than 72 hours) are non-refundable. No refund for unused services or early checkouts.
Refund Policy
- Processing Time: All eligible refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days from the date of cancellation approval. Delays may occur due to bank processing times or weekends/holidays.
- Method: Refunds will be made to the original payment method used at the time of booking (UPI, Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, Wallet, etc.). No cash refunds will be issued.
- Conditions:
- Refunds are only applicable as per the Cancellation Policy terms. No refund for: Unused services Delayed arrival or early departure Weather-related cancellations of optional activities (e.g., ropeway, skiing) In case of natural disasters or unavoidable emergencies, rescheduling may be offered subject to availability.
