Do Dham Yatra Kedarnath Badrinath – Overview
Kedarnath and Badrinath darshan in 6 days, with hotels, all meals and a local pahadi driver. Our Do Dham Yatra package starts and ends at Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun and covers the two most visited dhams of Uttarakhand – Kedarnath, the Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva, and Badrinath, the abode of Lord Vishnu. Delhi pickup and drop can be added at extra cost, depending on taxi availability. Places you will see on this Do Dham Yatra: • Devprayag Sangam, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi become the Ganga • Rudraprayag and Vishwanath Temple, Guptkashi • Kedarnath Temple and Bhairavnath Temple (Triyuginarayan Temple on request, extra cost) • Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath – the winter seat of Baba Kedar • Chopta forests on the scenic road to Joshimath • Narsingh Temple, Joshimath – the winter seat of Badri Vishal • Badrinath Temple, Tapt Kund and Mana, the first village of India (Bheem Pul, Vyas Gufa, Saraswati river) • Dhari Devi Temple near Srinagar on the way back Why this itinerary works: you stay two nights at Phata, one of the main Kedarnath helipads, so the trek day starts early and the return is relaxed. You spend a night at Kedarnath for a peaceful early morning darshan, break the Badrinath drive with a night at Joshimath, and stay at Badrinath after the evening aarti and a walk to Mana Village. Your driver is a local pahadi driver from Uttarakhand who has already completed many Kedarnath and Badrinath yatras. He knows the mountain roads, the landslide-prone stretches, the Sonprayag parking and the right time to leave each morning. We never drive on hill roads after dark. The package includes 5 nights in hotels at Phata, Kedarnath, Joshimath and Badrinath, pure vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner, a private Sedan, SUV or Tempo Traveller with fuel, tolls, parking and driver charges, sightseeing as per the itinerary, and help with the mandatory yatra registration. You can add a Kedarnath helicopter from Phata, pony or palki, extra days or hotel upgrades. You pay as you travel. Book your yatra with just ₹5,000, which is adjusted in the total price. The balance is paid in three parts during the trip: 50% when the yatra starts, 30% before going to Kedarnath, and the last 20% after Badrinath darshan, before we drop you back at your pickup city. Chardham Yatri has a dedicated ground team that stays with you for the whole yatra. We create a WhatsApp group for your family where all communication and live tracking happen. Every day our team asks for your feedback on the driver, hotel rooms, hotel staff and everyone's health, and asks what you would like for the next day. Each hotel also calls you before you arrive. If anything goes wrong on the yatra, our team resolves it immediately. At the end of the trip we send you a Google feedback form to share your experience. What pilgrims say about us on Google: “The way you took care of us when it actually matters (Kedarnath trek) by providing timely updates and making sure we are safe.” – Prasanna Kumar “The regular tracking, timely updates, and coordination at every stage gave us great confidence.” – Rajesh Athelli “The driver was skilled and courteous, which made the long mountain drives very comfortable.” – Tripti Mehta The Do Dham Yatra is the best choice when you have less time than the full Char Dham Yatra but want darshan of both Baba Kedarnath and Badri Vishal. Kedarnath and Badrinath open around late April or early May and close around Diwali; May–June and September–October are the best months. Bookings are open for the 2027 yatra season.
