One car and one driver for all four dhams. We pick you up in Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun or Delhi and follow the traditional route: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, with the night stops planned so that nobody drives on hill roads after dark.
The roads reach Gangotri and Badrinath. For Yamunotri the car stops at Janki Chatti (about 6 km trek), and for Kedarnath at Sonprayag (shuttle to Gaurikund, then about 16 km trek or a helicopter from Phata). Your driver waits at each base while you have darshan.

Char Dham taxi plan: 10 days from Haridwar
- Days 1–2Haridwar to Barkot via Mussoorie, then Yamunotri darshan from Janki Chatti.
- Days 3–4Uttarkashi and Harshil Valley, then Gangotri darshan and Gartang Gali.
- Days 5–7Drive to Phata, Kedarnath trek and darshan, and back to Phata.
- Days 8–9Ukhimath and Chopta to Joshimath, then Badrinath and Mana village.
- Day 10Drive back via Dhari Devi and Devprayag to Rishikesh or Haridwar.

Char Dham Yatra Taxi: FAQs
How many days do I need the taxi for the Char Dham Yatra?
About 10 days from Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun, and 11 days from Delhi. Keep a spare day if you travel in July or August, when landslides are common.
Which car will you send?
It depends on your group: a Swift Dzire for 1–4 people, a Maruti Ertiga or Toyota Innova Crysta for 5–7, and a Tempo Traveller for 8 or more. Tell us if you want a bigger car for elders or extra luggage.
Which car is best for elders on the Char Dham Yatra?
The Toyota Innova Crysta. It has the most comfortable seats and suspension for long hill drives and enough room for luggage and medicines. For two families together, a Tempo Traveller is better value.
Can I take the taxi for only some of the dhams?
Yes. Many families take it for Do Dham (Kedarnath and Badrinath) or only Kedarnath. Choose the trip on the form and we plan the days for you.
Do you drive at night in the hills?
No. For safety our drivers do not drive on hill roads after dark, so each day's drive is planned to reach the night stop before evening.
Can you also book the hotels?
Yes. Tick "suggest a hotel" on the form and we send verified hotels and homestays on your route with the taxi quote. If you want hotels, meals and the taxi together, take one of our packages instead.
Is yatra registration required?
Yes. Every pilgrim needs the free Uttarakhand Char Dham yatra registration before the trip. The QR code is checked on the route, and we help you with it after you book.
