Kedarnath taxi plan: 4 days from Haridwar or Rishikesh
- Day 1Drive via Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Guptkashi to Phata (about 8–9 hours). Night at Phata.
- Day 2Early drive to Sonprayag, shuttle to Gaurikund and trek to Kedarnath (or helicopter from Phata). The car waits below.
- Day 3Morning darshan, trek down to Gaurikund and drive back to Phata.
- Day 4Drive back via Dhari Devi to Rishikesh, Haridwar or Dehradun by evening.
From Delhi, add a day each way: pickup early on day 1 and drop in Delhi on day 5.

Kedarnath Taxi: FAQs
For how many days do I need the Kedarnath taxi?
4 days from Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun, and 5 days from Delhi. Keep one spare day in the monsoon months, when landslides can block the road for a few hours.
Can the taxi go to Gaurikund?
No. Private vehicles stop at Sonprayag. A shared shuttle jeep runs the last 5 km to Gaurikund, where the trek starts. Your driver waits at Sonprayag or Phata.
Which car will you send?
It depends on your group: a Swift Dzire for 1–4 people, a Maruti Ertiga or Toyota Innova Crysta for 5–7, and a Tempo Traveller for 8 or more. Tell us if you want a bigger car for elders or extra luggage.
What does the taxi quote include?

Do you drive at night in the hills?
No. For safety our drivers do not drive on hill roads after dark, so each day's drive is planned to reach the night stop before evening.
