Char Dham Yatra 2026 — Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri
The Char Dham Yatra is the road pilgrimage to Uttarakhand's four dhams: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. For most families the circuit takes 9 to 12 days from Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun, and registration is mandatory. Below you will find the days and cost slabs, a page for each temple and Kedarnath trips from your city. Official opening dates are announced by the government every year.

Kedarnath
16–18 km trek from Gaurikund, or a helicopter from Phata. 2–4 days from Haridwar for Kedarnath alone.
Badrinath
Reachable by road, with Mana village nearby. Usually paired with Kedarnath as a Do Dham trip.
Gangotri
On the Uttarkashi route. Harshil Valley, 25 km before the temple, makes a calm base.
Yamunotri
About 6 km on foot or by palki from Janki Chatti. Usually the first dham of the full yatra.
